4. Tendering Strategies

Teaches you the different tendering strategies, along with how to develop a successful tendering technique based on your business model/goals. Covers strategies for new/start-up businesses, and applying for incumbent tenders.

5. Navigating Tender Portals

An explanation of the functionalities of tender portals, including demonstrations of the 4 most common tenders in the UK, how to navigate them, submit tenders and raise clarifications.

6. Reading & Understanding Bid Docs

The module covers the typical documents you get with a tender, which sections to pay attention to and how to use the documents to complete the tender compliantly.

I'm an APMP-certified bid writer, writing tenders and proposals since 2017, in every niche industry possible. I’ve worked for 2 bid-writing agencies, each one with its unique approach, and techniques to writing proposals. Since then, I’ve noticed a pattern, and the most common hurdles that businesses face: not passing the initial check, failing with selecting the right opportunities, losing marks on quality responses, finding the process overwhelming and complex, not understanding the documents... to name but a few! The course is geared towards resolving all of the above pain points, as well as giving you the tools to start tendering the right way, without wasting time due to a poor tendering strategy (or lack of).

Let’s be real here – money matters. This is why you’re going after tenders in the first place, right?

With any type of investment into your business, of course you hope to get that return on investment.

Well here’s the deal:

Most bid writers charges around £200 - £450 per day on average, but it can be more

(Note: unlike most bid writers, I don’t have a day rate, I charge per project as this seems more fair to me).

You might hire them for 2-5 days, per tender.

If your budget is limited and you want to keep your bid writing costs to a minimum, and internally, an online course is going to be your best bet.
